“Extra” spotted Britney Spears smooching, snuggling and sitting on the lap of a new mystery man over the weekend.

We spotted the suddenly brunette pop princess and her new guy leaving a viewing of “The Holiday” Sunday night at The Grove in Los Angeles.

From there, the two showed some serious PDA for one another in the shadows of a nearby restaurant.

So who is Brit’s new Romeo?

Insiders say he’s J.R. Rotem, a music producer who’s working with Spears on her new album, and, who in the past, has worked with Paris Hilton and Brit’s ex, Kevin Federline.

“Extra” first spotted Britney’s brand new locks Friday night as the pop princess went out to party with friends.

Keeping up with her recent party hopping, Brit set off a flashbulb frenzy Saturday night, as she zipped in and out of her recording studio.

Judging by the shots, the newly single Brit is making out just fine!
