“Ryan’s mother was devastated; she said that their hearts were broken,” dished People’s Senior Editor J.D. Heyman.

Heyman also gave “Extra” the scoop on Ryan’s alleged other woman, Australian actress Abbie Cornish, with whom the actor stars with in an upcoming indie flick.

“Although the pair did go out to dinner in Austin, and they were seen dining out, the people we spoke with said nothing untoward happened,” Heyman revealed.

Abbie also stars with Russell Crowe in the new movie, “A Good Year.”
