Congratulating Julia
November 30, 2004 Phinnaeus and Hazel Roberts Moder are front-page Hollywood news, and only "Extra" has the stars wishes for new mom Julia.
In LA, Ellen DeGeneres warned away the name critics, saying "Leave Julia alone -- those are fine names."
And Brittany Murphy admitted, "It's exciting!"
Matt Damon, in New York to tape an appearance on David Letterman, jokingly expressed his disappointment, telling us, "I can't believe she didn't name the kid Matthew."
But Matt was hesitant to give the newborns any advice since, "They can't understand English yet."
Meanwhile, across town mommy Rosie O'Donnell had no such reluctance, telling Julia, "Sleep when the babies sleep -- that's the only advice of parenting."
And there were more well wishes from LA, where Kathy Najimi was being honored by Ms. Magazine as a Woman of the Year. Camryn Mannheim summed it best: Julia's just taken on the role of a lifetime. "It's just the beginning of the most miraculous and fantastic time of your life," said Camryn.
