Marg in Charge
November 18, 2004

"CSI" is hitting its 100th episode mark with a gender bender murder mystery airing Thursday night on CBS and "Extra" visited the California Science Center with lovely Crime Scene Investigation star Marg Helgenberger to view artist Gunther Von Hagen's anatomical exhibition of real human bodies.

With 30 million viewers tuning into the hit show, "CSI" is being hailed as one of TV's top addictions, which Marg acknowledged, saying, "When your show's being called an addiction, you're doing something right."

And it looks likes Marg's character has been doing something right, as she revealed the big changes ahead for season five -- she's getting a promotion. "I'm going to be given my own shift in which I'll be supervising," she told us. "My team is going to be, I'm sad to say, Gary and George, so sad."

So once she's the boss and running people around, how much will she enjoy cracking the whip? "Well, as long as I'm in thigh-high boots with that whip," she laughed.

That's sure to keep the ratings up there, Marg!
