The Critical View November
12, 2004 If you know movies, you know that
Ebert and Roeper are two of the most feared men in Hollywood
-- and possibly have the most feared thumbs on the entire
planet.
And with huge stars, including Renée Zellweger, Tom
Hanks and Pierce Brosnan, headed to the box office this
week, the famous thumbs are hard at work critiquing
everything from Liam Neeson's sex study to Tom Hanks'
train ride.
Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper are not holding back
their opinions this weekend on the film they are calling
a sure bet for award season. "I think that 'Kinsey'
is not only a good movie, but a great performance by
Liam Neeson," Roger told us. "I am sure he's
going to get an Oscar nomination."
"'Polar Express' is a wonderful movie," he
added. "But we had a big disagreement over 'Bridget
Jones: The Edge of Reason.' I think Renée Zellweger
is great in the role."
So tune in Sunday night, to see if it's thumbs up or
thumbs down as Ebert and Roeper battle it out this weekend
"At The Movies."
