Sara Evans: Ready to Tango with her Troubles
New details in the scandalous divorce of Sara Evans continue to rock the set of "Dancing with the Stars."
On Monday, ABC announced that Sara Evans will break her silence about the allegations of cheating and abuse, which she leveled against her estranged husband, Craig Schelske, on Tuesday night.
In light of Sara's scandal-soaked marriage, "Dancing" co-star Jerry Springer came to our set and opened up about the controversy that mirrors an episode of his hit, mud-flinging talk show.
"Sometimes you can tell there's something going on," Jerry admitted. "But life is the only real dance, and you don't always get to choose your tune; my prayers are for her, I hope everything works out."
Another Hollywood star who knows a thing or two about public breakups is super sexy Nick Lachey.
At the launch of the new celebrity website Yfly.com, at New York's Grand Hotel, the hunky Nick sent this message to Sara: "Your personal life is always the most important thing in life. I certainly wish her the best."
Sara's sudden breakup shocked nearly everyone; the country sweetheart recently told "Extra" her marriage couldn't be better.
"I am so happy, and I have so much joy, and my life is so full," she gushed at the time.
Sara even echoed those warm and fuzzy sentiments in the November issue of Ladies Home Journal, in which she describes her husband as a "great father, honest, supportive and smart."
We went straight to Sara's home turf in Nashville, where signs of support for Sara's "Dancing" dreams are still everywhere, to get a glimpse of her Tennessee sanctuary.
Tennessean newspaper columnist Beverly Keel told "Extra" the country music capital is still in shock.
"I interviewed her a week ago and things were fine, things were great," Keel revealed.
As the country watches the scandal unfold, Sara's husband vehemently denies the scandalous allegations.
Craig's family in Oregon told "Extra," "We're going to get through this with the help from the good Lord. We know the truth will come out."
Tune into "Dancing with the Stars," as Sara speaks out Tuesday night on ABC.
