Superstar hit-maker Justin Timberlake hit his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee this past weekend to accept an award from the Memphis chapter of The Recording Academy.
"Memphis, you giving me this award is like giving my family this award," said Timberlake upon accepting the kudos.
Justin accepted he award from another Memphis native, the legendary Morgan Freeman, who stars with Timberlake in the upcoming crime drama, "Edison." "I've come to appreciate Justin as an artist and a friend," said Freeman.
Lisa Marie Presley was also back home in Memphis to see Justin honored, as was his girlfriend Cameron Diaz. Justin joked with the audience that he and his longtime love may not be ready to settle down just yet, saying, "I really feel like I figured so many things out since I've been able to be here and be home again and see my friends again – who by the way, are all married and have children now which is insane to me."
Justin, who's also making a movie in Memphis broke news to "Extra" about his next big project: "I'm going to get straight into doing another album."
