Terror in the Sky for 'CSI' Star
October 21, 2005

"CSI" star Marg Helgenberger tells Fox she survived a real-life scare when her plane aborted take off seconds after blowing two tires while barreling down the runway. Marg knew something was terribly wrong when she heard two loud bangs.

"Just these explosions. I knew that it was a tire that blew. I just instinctively knew that and then another blew," says Helgenberger.

The American Airlines MD-80 jet was heading from Dallas Fortworth International Airport bound for Omaha. Marg was heading back to her hometown for a charity event.

"I didn't really panic. I kind of just got pissed off really cause I thought, 'Oh god, another delay. Every time I come to Omaha, this happens to me.'"
