Madonna Tells Secrets
October 19, 2005
At Tuesday night's premiere of "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret," a made-for-TV documentary chronicling life on Madonna's "Reinvention" tour, our Jerry Penacoli caught up with the Material Girl to find out just what secrets she was hiding.
First up was the newest religious controversy she finds herself dealing with. Some say "Isaac," a track on her newest album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor," is disrespectful to revered Jewish Mystic Isaac Luria. "These are people making comments who are not informed. The song 'Isaac' is about the guy who sang on the record, 'Isaac'…It's not about Isaac Luria," Madonna explains.
The next subject was her health. Two months ago, Madonna suffered cracked ribs and a broken collarbone in a horse-riding accident. "I'm not completely 100 percent yet," she said. "I've got a few ribs that haven't come together quite perfectly yet, so I'm being a little careful."
But when asked if she is able to go on tour and dance her heart out, she responded, "Yeah, absolutely."
"I'm Going to Tell You a Secret" debuts on MTV Friday night.
