Stars Hit Paris for Louis Vuitton Re-Opening
October 10, 2005

Hollywood's hottest stars gathered in Paris Sunday night for the party of the year. Uma Thurman, the face of Louis Vuitton, Sharon Stone, Salma Hayek, Winona Ryder and Catherine Deneuve were among the Tinseltown royalty who celebrated the grand re-opening of the spectacular, newly-renovated Louis Vuitton store.

Located on the famous Champs-Elysees, the flagship store is more than 20,000 square feet and seven stories of pure luxury. "It's a company that has a real sense of chic, a sense of style and a sense of graciousness in their design," Stone said.

In addition to selling clothes and leather goods, the store is a visual delight, housing an extraordinary art gallery and book store.

And to top off the re-opening, Louis Vuitton hosted a fashion show at the Petit Palais, lit with the famous LV initials, where Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs showed his sexy spring collection.

"Every bit of visual technology seems to have been employed on this extraordinary building," Thurman said. "I loved the show, it was fantastic."
