Minogue's Sister Clears Up Kylie Health Rumors
October 4, 2005

Dannii Minogue, the equally stunning sister of pop superstar Kylie Minogue, is speaking out for the first time, and only to "Extra's" Terri Seymour, about her sister's courageous fight and the family's struggle!

"It's the hardest thing I've ever encountered in my life," Dannii told us.

Dannii, a pop star in her own right, is breaking her silence about her sister's condition. Kylie's heartbreaking breast cancer diagnosis stunned fans and made headlines when it was announced last May.

"She's really good," Danni said. "She's just a trooper and I admire her so much. She's so calm about the whole thing."

Kylie, 37, has been waging her brave cancer battle in Paris where her she is undergoing chemotherapy after having several surgeries. She was recently photographed smiling with her boyfriend, "Unfaithful" star Olivier Martinez, who has rarely left her side since her cancer was discovered.

"I love him, he's great," Dannii said of Olivier. "He's so good for her, he makes her so happy. He's been so supportive."

But Sunday there was a report that Kylie had become so thin, she went back to Australia to be with her parents. But "Extra" has learned that Kylie is still in Paris.

"Extra" caught up with Dannii in London where she is releasing her brand new single, "Perfection," which samples "Turn the Beat Around" by the Miami Sound Machine. "For me, the Miami Sound Machine is what I remember growing up with."

And Dannii wants Kylie's fans to remember there is a way they can help her sister: by donating to cancer charities. "She's been helped enormously by the cancer charities, as do other women going through that," Dannii said. "And we'll see her back."
