'Boston Legal' in Session
October 29, 2004 "Extra's"
going behind the bench of ABC's other Sunday night hit,
"Boston Legal." You can expect plenty of tricks
and treats on this week's episode, as James Spader,
a.k.a. Batman, and his sexy sidekick, Rhona Mitra, get
into some legal trouble of their own.
While on the set, the eccentric cast showed their enthusiasm
for being part of ABC's new Sunday lineup, following
"Desperate Housewives." "I never imagined
what television was going to be like to work on,"
Spader revealed. "And I'm really having a great
time with it. Every week, I can't wait to see what the
hell happens next."
And with Spader and William Shatner both taking home
Emmys last season for "The Practice" -- the
verdict on the spin-off is in -- it's a sure-fire, case-closed
hit. "Is that right?" Shatner asked. "If
so, I need to get more money."
And talking about Emmys, Spader revealed that "Practice"
guest star Sharon Stone may reprise her Emmy-winning
role: "It would be great to get her to come back
in."
Lake Bell and newcomers Monica Potter and Mark Valley
add to the amazing ensemble. "There are so many
beautiful people on the show," Valley insisted.
"I just don't know who my character's going to
end up sleeping with, to be honest with you."
And Mitra returned the compliment: "He's very handsome,
so he's nice to have around as set dressing."
