Extra! Extra! Trick or Treat
October 28, 2004 Simon Cowell gets animated, Ellen reveals her Halloween trick and an animal attack is caught on tape. We've got all that and more in today's Extra! Extra!
Ruben Studdard is
almost through week two of his "Extra" extreme
makeover, and as we told you, he weighed in at 449 pounds.
And now some of his dieting fans are weighing in with
support on Friday's "Larry Elder Show."
So how much has he lost? We have the exclusive weight that the entire country is waiting for next week, only on "Extra."
Ellen fans got their fill of tricks
and treats last year as the host dressed up as the unmistakable
Dr. Phil. And you won't believe what
she's got in store for Friday's show, as the entire
stage will be transformed into an Ellen Spooktacular
with "Charmed" star Alyssa
Milano. This is one "Ellen"
show you won't want to miss.
Shocking behind-the-scenes footage surfaced today, as
daredevil Steve-O found himself in
a real life-or-death situation. On a shoot in the African
Jungle, the former "Jackass" star was supposed
to demonstrate that the new Nintendo DS will work anywhere.
But suddenly a lion climbed up the tree.
"I was just like, I'm dead," Steve-O said. "I've never been so completely resigned to the fact that I was dead."
Luckily Steve-O escaped and still has all of his nine lives.
Mike Myers, Cameron
Diaz, Eddie Murphy
and Antonio Banderas
are back -- on DVD that is. "Shrek 2" comes
out on DVD and this time there's a surprise ending:
"Far Far Away Idol," an animated spoof of
FOX's hit series "American Idol," and yes,
the hilarious parody does include the one and only Simon
Cowell.
"I prefer being a cartoon character rather than a real person because then I last forever, so it's ego," Cowell insisted.
"Shrek 2" is available on DVD Friday, November 5th.
Original "American Idol" Kelly
Clarkson was one of the stars shining
on stage at "Women Rock" on Wednesday night.
The benefit put on to fight breast cancer also included
Blondie, Shirley Manson and En Vouge.
"Oh my god, I couldn't believe they asked me to sing with them," Clarkson admitted.
The benefit concert airs Thursday night at 11 on Lifetime.
