Rod Stewart Breaks Wedding News
September 26, 2006

The legendary Rob Stewart poured his heart out to our Teri Seymour about life with beautiful supermodel Penny Lancaster.

"She's the love of my life," he said. "Getting married next year, if she doesn't change her mind!"

Stewart, who's about to release his first rock album in eight years, opened up to "Extra" about his break from music to enjoy being a father to their baby boy, Alistair.

"When my first two kids were born, Shawn and Kimberly, I had to go on the road because I was broke, and I owed the tax man loads of money," Rod admitted. "I missed the first two or three years of their life."

This time around, Rod wants to do things right: "I didn't want to make that mistake with Alistair."

While the wonderful father has been singing to his son, Rod is now back with songs for the rest of us. His new album, "Still the Same: Great Rock Classics of our Time," hits stores Oct. 10.

After the album debuts, Stewart plans to tour with his wife-to-be and son in tow. And our Teri Seymour joked that his fiancée, Penny, will style his sexy locks while on the road.

"No," the jovial singer quickly said. "I do my own bonnet!"

Speaking of hair, Rod showed us proof that his trademark locks haven't lost their luster over the years.

"Have a look at the top of this. It's all mine," he said. "No bare patches. No Glue. No weaves; it's all mine!"
