Brad Pitt's Proudest Role Yet: Dad
It was Brad Pitt pandemonium in Toronto over the weekend, as the sexy superstar made his long-awaited solo return to the spotlight.
Angelina Jolie was busy taking a pilot's class at the Burbank Airport, but there was still plenty of excitement as Brad walked the red carpet for the first time since the birth of his daughter, Shiloh.
So is Brad up late at night burping his little one? "Yeah, we're up late," Pitt confessed. "We're definitely up late. Actually, she's on a good sleeping schedule now."
But when we asked Brad how fatherhood had changed him, he couldn't find the words to eloquently convey his overpowering emotions.
"Immensely," he said, "I couldn't do it in a sound bite."
Brad sure does have a lot to talk about these days, filming "Ocean's 13" with buddies Matt Damon and George Clooney. "Extra" caught Brad at a charity event hosted by Matt in Toronto during his quick jaunt to premiere his new movie "Babel."
The new project stars Brad and Cate Blanchett, who play American tourists caught up in an international incident.
Brad revealed how his real-life role as a dad affected how he and Angelina plan their future trips abroad.
"It becomes the one thing that keeps you up at night and how can you protect your children," Brad admitted. "We have to make other preparations to make sure we're being responsible and smart in some of these areas that we're going."
The superstar also admitted that having kids changed how he'll choose future roles.
"Oh my God, what did I do?" Brad joked. "What are they going to see in films from the past? I start making that list, and it definitely colors what I'll approach in the future."
Pitt even poked some fun at himself, as the clicking cameras interrupted the news conference.
"That's the picture that's going to end up when I have a breakdown or something," he joked of his funny face. "Get arrested for a DUI late at night. ‘See, we saw it coming!'"
