Denise and Richie Go Public in New York City
Hollywood's most talked about couple, Denise Richards and Richie Sambora, finally made their romance public Thursday night, as they lit up the red carpet together for the very first time in New York City for Fashion Rocks.
Denise came straight to "Extra" to dish on the pair's coordinating look.
"Whatever matched with each other," she said.
"You've got to look cool all the time if you're a rock star all the time," Richie added. "I was probably the epitome of un-cool back in '87, but now I'm cool because I'm with her."
Richie's bandmate, Bon Jovi, was also sharing the love.
While we had him on hand, Bon Jovi also gave us the first sneak peek at his Kenneth Cole jackets line that he'll be selling for charity.
"We're going to have a line of coats this fall, where all the net proceeds are going to homelessness," he said.
It was definitely a star-studded night, featuring "Extra's" very own resident rocker, Mark McGrath, who joined gorgeous gals like Eva Mendes and a newly single Carmen Electra, who opened up about her split from Dave Navarro.
"We're still best friends, and we talk all the time," she revealed. "I'm just really trying to spend time alone or with my girlfriends. I have all my friends come over and we barbeque and we hang out. I'm trying not to rush into dating."
Knockout Petra Nemcova joined the party sans her new beau, musician James Blunt, who was busy prepping for his new album.
And Christina Aguilera opened the night with a show-stopping performance with Sir Elton John. "It's, like, incredible performing with a legend," Aguilera admitted. "He's always been such a support of what I do and my voice, so he's great."
Other big performers at Fashion Rocks included Beyoncé, the Pussycat Dolls, the Black Eyed Peas and Nelly Furtado, who looked simply smashing in Versace for the big event.
"I just put on stuff that makes me feel sexy," she admitted. "My body got better after I had a baby."
Fergie's dress was sheer and sexy, and she capped off her looks with lots of bling, including a ring dubbed "the poison ring."
"It's all diamonds," Fergie explained. "You open it up and it's a little lip gloss. And I'm donating it to charity."
Don't miss this A-list fashion spectacle when it airs Friday night on CBS.
