Moving On Up... To Toronto September
13, 2004 Some of Hollywood's hottest stars have decided to take a few days vacation from Tinseltown and they've migrated north for the Toronto Film Festival. "Extra" was there every step of the way to find out what your favorite famous faces have been up to.
It was all well wishes at the screening of the romantic
epic "Head in the Clouds", as Penélope Cruz
and Stewart Townsend wished their missing castmate,
and Stewart's girlfriend, Charlize Theron, well.
Stewart told us Charlize is doing just fine after an accident on the set of her film "Aeon Flux" that left her in a neck brace. "I just talked to her," Stewart told us. "She just said to have a great time and she was sad not to be here. Miss you, wish you were here!"
Jamie Foxx hit all the right notes at the "Ray"
screening Sunday night, telling us, "Ray and I
got to play dueling pianos. He gave his blessing. He
said, 'Jamie, if you can play the blues, you can do
anything.'"
Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom spent time enjoying his first trip to Toronto. "I know, it's crazy, but it's my first time in Toronto and I have to say I must come back, it's fantastic."
Orlando's girlfriend and new Revlon it-girl Kate Bosworth joined co-star/director Kevin Spacey for their new movie "Beyond the Sea," a biopic about Kevin's idol, Bobby Darin. Of the festival, Bosworth admitted, "Wow, it's been a little crazy."
And when Sandra Bullock talked to us about her new movie
"Crash," she revealed that she loved the project
so much she did it for scale. "And allowed myself
to be beaten -- flogged -- everyday," Bullock jokingly
confirmed. "Crash" follows an ensemble cast
of characters brought together by a car accident. Sandra
stars alongside Brendan Fraser, Matt Dillon, Don Cheadle,
Thandie Newton and Ryan Philippe.
Keep an eye out for these films, coming to theaters soon.
