Sexy import Jude Law is about as hot as it gets. He plays an unfaithful lover opposite Julia Roberts in "Closer," a heat-seeking bachelor in "Alfie" and a hot-shot pilot who saves the planet with Gwyneth Paltrow in "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," about which Jude told us: "I love the fact that for me it was an opportunity to play a hero."

The handsome, hardworking Brit is launching a full-scale attack on Hollywood, with these movies (plus three more -- that's an incredible six films) opening by the end of the year. And Jude is sharing his success and sex appeal in the October issue of Vanity Fair.

"I think Jude has been percolating for a long time," Vanity Fair West Coast Editor Krista Smith said. "I think his talent is indisputable."

And Smith admitted to being quite smitten with the handsome heartthrob during his photo shoot, telling us: "He's incredibly charming, direct, he looks you in the eye, he's very English, very polite."

But what surprised Smith the most was how, at only 31 years of age, Jude's already lived a lifetime: "He has two Oscar nominations, three kids, he was in a relationship for nearly a decade. You forget -- you're thinking he's just another cute movie star."

Divorced for nearly a year from actress Sadie Frost, Jude is now hot and heavy with 22-year-old Sienna Miller, who he met on the set of "Alfie." But Jude insisted that his kids will always come first in his life: "They've made me want to be me more, because you suddenly realize that you can only be the best parent by being the best person."
