Trespasser Enters Jennifer Aniston's Home
August 26, 2005

A worried-looking Jennifer Aniston stepped off a plane in Los Angeles Thursday after learning that an intruder had just broken into her Malibu home. Police say the man walked right into the house through an unlocked door.

Two of Aniston's security guards bumped into him, but the suspect managed to run out of the house and take off down the beach. Minutes later, police arrested him.

"He stated he wanted to see Jennifer Aniston," said Los Angeles Deputy Tanya Plunkett.

Plunkett revealed that the suspect, 48-year-old David Hasterby, took a cab to Aniston's home and has no prior incidents like this on his record.

"We don't know if it was a stalker incident or if he just wanted to meet Jennifer Aniston," Plunkett said.

Either way, Aniston is not taking any chances. "Extra" has learned the actress now has approximately two dozen security guards posted at her beachfront home.

This frightening incident comes just one day after Aniston finished shooting her new movie "The Break Up" with Vince Vaughn.
