You’ve gotta love the Video Music Awards. Where else can you see Madonna and Britney make out, or watch Paris Hilton prance around in her smallest outfits? (Well, one out of two isn’t bad). "Extra’s" got your inside ticket to this Sunday’s MTV VMAs.

This year's show is loaded with questions. Who’s hosting? Who will go with whom? Will Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony finally walk the red carpet together? And what about Britney -- will she fly solo or walk with fiancé Kevin Federline?

Well two of those secrets are being kept tightly under wraps. As for the host -- look for many, including the always funny Dave Chapelle, who made a hilarious MTV commercial for the show.

Of course, no party is complete without Miss Hilton. We caught up with Paris on Friday, at her record launch party at the hotpot, Mansion, and she revealed why she’s so revved up.

"The VMAs are going to be awesome," she told us. "I’m so excited they’re throwing it in Miami this year." But the VMAs weren’t the only reason Paris was glowing. "I’m really happy for Nicky," she added, referring to her sister’s recent Las Vegas wedding. "It was really exciting."

As for rumors that the disappearance of Paris’ dog, Tinkerbell, was just a publicity stunt to help promote Hilton’s album, the hotel heiress told us, "That is ridiculous. This was the most heartbreaking thing that every happened to me. It was like losing a child."

Meanwhile, Lil’ Jon, Petey Pablo, the Ying Yang twins and Fat Joe invited us inside their sound check Friday morning, and we discovered they are just some of the stars set to party with Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Usher and P Diddy in Miami.

And prepare for bare. VMA fashion is never about the clothes -- it's about the lack thereof, or as, "Extra's" fashion watcher at Us Weekly, Katrina Zish, put it: "Miami is all about skin, it’s about the less clothes the better."
