Sure, Jen, We'll Dance
August 26, 2004
We all know that Jennifer Lopez's social life is more than full these days, following her marriage to Marc Anthony, but it turns out her dance card is full with work as well -- starting with her latest film "Shall We Dance?"
A remake of a popular Japanese movie, "Dance" has Lopez teaming with Richard Gere to teach him a few spicy steps.
But dancing isn't all Jen's been up to, she's also dealing
with in-laws -- not Marc Anthony's, but Michael Vartan's.
The "Alias" star plays Lopez's perfect man
in another upcoming movie of Jen's, "Monster-In-Law."
But watch out for Vartan's mother, who is played by
Jane Fonda.
"They're actually incredibly funny in it," Vartan told of his female co-stars.
But wait, there's more: from the big screen to small, this season will see Lopez reprising her role as a wedding singer on NBC's "Will & Grace."
And somehow, with all that going on, Lopez has not given up on her other passion: music. We've learned she's back in the studio working on a new album, which is set to hit stores this Christmas. Lopez also recorded the end title track to "Shall We Dance."
Check out the busy girl's latest film yourself, when "Shall We Dance" hits theaters on October 15th.
