Hollywood’s Most Glamorous Party
August 6, 2004

When Ivana Trump has a party, you can bet it will be the celebration of the season. We’ve got your VIP pass to this rare and candid glimpse inside the exclusive social world of the rich and famous after hours.

Ivana was the guest of honor at the ritzy "Welcome to Hollywood" bash thrown by famed society hostess Nikki Haskell in her home overlooking the movie capital of the world.

"This is small, intimate… with a lot of people," joked Haskell. The A-list guest list included Jacqueline Bisset, Robert Evans, Michelle Phillips, Michael York, Brenda Vaccaro, Robert Shapiro and Tony Curtis.

Nikki even gave "Extra" an extra-special invitation to witness one of her legendary celebrity parties unfold from scratch. "I did the brisket, spinach and the carrots," she told us.

Meanwhile, belle of the ball Ivana was looking rather partial to her dashing, young Italian beau, Rossano Rubicondi. And while everyone wanted to know why she had mysteriously taken new digs in Malibu, La Ivana would only respond, "I’m here for business, so you can put two and two together."

And this is how it adds up: word has it that the multi-millionairess may soon be starring in her own reality series, called "Girls on Top." But Ivana wouldn't say if she really was trying to Trump her ex, Donald, and his hit show, "The Apprentice."

"I honestly can't talk about it," she told us. "But I promise, you will be the first to know."

In the meantime, we do know that Haskell’s party was a huge success.
