Scarlett Johansson Gets the ‘Scoop'
July 7, 2006

Woody Allen directed screen goddess Scarlett Johansson in "Match Point," and afterward, he promised to write his next film just for her.

"Sure enough, he was true to his word," Scarlett revealed. "And we got to do this comedy together."

The comedy is "Scoop," a new romantic flick starring Scarlett, Hugh Jackman and the great Woody Allen. Scarlett plays a journalism student on the trail of a serial killer with a little help from Woody.

Hugh shaves off his "X-Men" Wolverine whiskers to play a handsome British aristocrat who becomes Scarlett's prime suspect and dream lover.

Meanwhile, Scarlett's real-life boyfriend Josh Hartnett better watch out because she says Hugh is as charming off camera as he is on the big screen. "He's just every woman's absolute dreamboat," she admitted. "And I have to say it wasn't hard work."

But Hugh thinks young Scarlett is pretty hot herself. "She's just one of a kind," he insisted. "I don't know anyone else at that age who has that level of maturity."

Scarlett is betting movie audiences will love her comic romp with Hugh and Woody just as much as she does. "People will really enjoy it," she promised.

Catch this new screen dream team in action when "Scoop" hits theaters this fall.
