A Hazardous Hollywood Night
July 29, 2005
Jessica Simpson was a real traffic stopper Thursday
night at the supped-up Hollywood premiere of "The
Dukes of Hazzard." And the starlet arrived with
her favorite accessory: her gorgeous husband Nick Lachey.
Lachey admitted that he enjoyed his wife's hot Daisy
Duke body. "I did lots of squats to get that butt,"
Simpson told us. "So I'm glad [people] are actually
talking about it."
America's favorite "Newlyweds" were happy just to spend some quality
time together at the premiere. "We've both looked forward to this evening
for awhile," Lachey revealed. "It's great to spend some time together.
We have to schedule premieres so we can actually see each other, you know?"
And from Daisy Duke to her onscreen Uncle Jesse, "Extra" hooked up with Willie Nelson, who revealed that he and Simpson may work together on an upcoming album. "We've talked about it," he told us. "I'm sure if she wants it as much as I do, we'll get it done."
Also at the premiere were Eva Longoria and boyfriend Tony Parker, Simpson's sister, Ashlee, and co-stars Lynda Carter, Burt Reynolds and Johnny Knoxville.
"I'm so excited because my family is in from Tennessee," Knoxville said, "My mom, sister and brother."
And Knoxville's on-screen family, Seann William Scott, revealed that he turned into a car nut making the movie. "Yeah it was great," he said. "I worked for four months with NASCAR drivers and great stunt guys. You're going to see some very excellent driving."
Find out for yourself when "The Dukes of Hazzard"
comes crashing into cinemas around the country next
Friday.
