Heather Mills McCartney Fights Back
June 13, 2006
Explosive allegations have re-surfaced about Heather Mills McCartney, and this time, the headlines are so scandalous that Sir Paul's estranged wife is planning to sue.
Heather is waging war over the tabloid-soaked report in Brittan's News of the World over the weekend, alleging she was once a lavishly paid call girl back in her 20s. These same allegations were leveled against Heather four years ago, and were then discredited.
Heather's publicist and confidante Michelle Elizabeth came to "Extra" to defend Heather's reputation. "She's being attacked from everywhere, it's horrible," Elizabeth said.
Mills McCartney is said to be in tears, and her law firm issued this statement: "Heather is very distressed by this article, but intends to sue all parties who are intent on damaging her reputation."
Heather confirmed Tuesday that she with Paul will proceed with their divorce.
While that divorce gets underway, another Hollywood couple couldn't be happier. We caught proud parents Gwen Stefani and hubby Gavin Rossdale out with their newborn baby boy as they showed him off to the paparazzi.
A jovial Gwen even joked to the shutterbugs, "Can I get a copy of this?"
Across town, the father of Anna Nicole Smith's unborn baby, celebrity photographer Larry Birkhead, is finally speaking.
Birkhead had this message for Anna: "My thoughts and prayers are with you; I wish you a healthy and safe delivery."
Another Hollywood couple may have decided less is suddenly "Moore."
According to the new issue of Us Weekly, the buzz is that Zach Braff, 31, and Mandy Moore, 22, have "Scrubbed" their 18-month relationship.
Us served up the scoop on what's behind the possible split: their 9-year age difference.
"A source close to Mandy says she was very young when she got together with Zach," revealed the mag's Katrina Szich. "Now that she's all grown up, she really wants to see what's out there."
