The Jolie-Pitt Clan Prepares to Head Home
June 9, 2006
Glowing mom Angelina Jolie is all smiles, as the globetrotting duo gets ready for their next move, and only we know where they're going!
Sources tell "Extra" that Brangelina will be out of Africa on June 14.
But before they head home to Malibu, Pitt and Jolie will make a stop in Capetown, South Africa. From there, they will make the 30-hour trek back to the golden state.
Camp Brangelina is already brimming with activity as their $9 million pad gets ready for their royal return.
In their first post-baby interview, UN Ambassador Angelina hinted where she will be in time for World Refugee Day on June 20. "I may be able to make it to Washington," she revealed. "If not, I will be delivering a statement from Los Angeles."
But you haven't heard all the juicy details just yet, as proud Dad Brad Pitt said in a press conference, "We have had an incredible time with our family exploring the country and a truly peaceful birth of our daughter. And for that we are eternally grateful."
"Thank you everyone in Namibia for allowing us this time in your country," Angelina added. "We hope to return."
Brad and Angie may still be thousands of miles from Hollywood, but red carpets are buzzing about the People shots of Baby Shiloh seen around the world.
Sarah Jessica Parker exclaimed, "I'm thrilled for them! That's an absolutely beautiful child."
And of the reported $4.1 million that will go to charity, Janet Jackson said, "I think that's absolutely wonderful. That's the way it should be."
But Baby Shiloh isn't the only one to get a close-up. People magazine also has a special edition out featuring Hollywood's other star babies -- from Brooke's baby girl to the Trump heir.
Also gracing the cover of magazines across the world is Sir Paul McCartney. But it looks as though he's not caught up on his own private life, as "Extra" spotted the singer still wearing his wedding band as he was out for a night on the town.
Once he realized paparazzi were present, he tried to hide the band and flashed the peace sign.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Piven is shooting down rumors he's hooking up with the ravishing Karolina Kurkova.
At the premiere of the new season of "Entourage," Piven came to "Extra" to set the record straight!
"She has had a boyfriend now for six years," he explained. Is that him? "No," he laughed.
