Brad & Angelina Play Husband and Wife
June 6, 2005
It's the day Hollywood has been waiting for: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie together in Hollywood to promote their new film, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
"Extra" sat down with both of the megastars to talk about their hot on-screen chemistry. "It's nice when that happens," Angelina admitted.
But what about questions of their alleged off-screen relationship? Well, the twosome refused to tell, and "Today" show's Ann Curry found out just how protective Angelina is of her privacy during a tense exchange Monday morning.
"People will say what they want to say," Jolie told Curry. "It is okay and my life will go on. I need to focus on my life. So do I need to defend that I'm a decent woman? I sure hope I don't. I know I am."
So what did Angelina have to say about the photos, which a magazine bought for half a million dollars of Angelina, Brad and Maddox playing on the beach in Africa?
"I mean you bought it, you're holding it,"
Jolie said to Curry of the much-talked-about pic. "The
fact is, it's part of your program, it's something we're
talking about still -- probably why [the photographer]
got half a million dollars."
Angelina definitely knows a little something about how to point and shoot. In fact, she was able to show off some very scary skills on the "Smith" set. Although Pitt told us, "It was just a good excuse to play with guns."
