A Girl for Denise and Charlie!
June 2, 2005

Separated stars Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are parents once again. Denise gave birth to the pair's second child Wednesday night, and we've learned that Charlie was right by her side in the delivery room as she gave birth.

The new baby is a girl named Lola. She weighed in at 6-pounds-10-ounces.

People magazine Executive Editor Peter Castro told "Extra" why Charlie was there. "They had made an agreement when they separated that he would be there for the birth," he explained. "The two followed through on the agreement."

Charlie and Denise also have a 15-month-old daughter named Sam, and whatever differences the stars have, Castro told us they plan to do what is best for the girls. "They will co-parent," Castro said. "And they will remain there for their kids."

Since the split, Sheen has poured his energy into his hit sitcom, "Two and a Half Men," and Richards is working on a new TV series of her own.

But despite reports that the couple may get back together, Castro told us that's not in the cards: "There were reports of reconciliation, but both reps vehemently deny that's in the works."

Well, together or apart, "Extra" wishes Denise and Charlie a big congratulations on their new bundle of joy!
