Rob and Amber Make the Ultimate Alliance
May 18, 2005
They appeared on "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race," so what better place for reality stars Rob and Amber to get married than on TV?
"I always said I wanted to get married at the beach," Amber admitted. "But I didn't imagine it would be here."
The top-secret nuptials were held at the spectacular Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas, but it all began when Rob asked for Amber's hand in front of millions on the finale of "Survivor: All Stars."
And now you're invited to the wedding festivities, as the castaways take their relationship to the next level.
"We want kids," Amber revealed. "We both come from a family of three, but he wants seven."
"She can handle it," Rob insisted. "She's a tough girl."
"Extra" got an exclusive invite to Rob's one-of-a-kind bachelor party. But there were no strip clubs for Rob -- he chose a fishing trip with his buddies. "You know, I've been there before in my life and done that, and I'm marrying the girl of my dreams," he told us.
Meanwhile, at a family barbeque, Amber's mom revealed a shocking secret about the happy couple: "They didn't like each other, and I'm so surprised this happened."
Well, luckily it did, and event planner to the stars Colin Cowie designed a beach-themed wedding. "It's about candles and lots of sea shells," he revealed.
The million-dollar celebration, courtesy of CBS, airs Sunday, and will be televised just like Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter's wedding.
