Beaming, radiant and obviously in love, newlyweds Renée Zellweger and Kenny Chesney had plenty of reasons to celebrate Monday night, and "Extra" has your first look at the couple's secret wedding.

The beautiful bride wore a strapless Carolina Herrera gown while saying "I do," and "Extra" has learned the wedding was on the beautiful island of St. John. It was a small ceremony with only about 45 friends and family at the intimate beach wedding.

"Extra" has learned the couple met in January while taping a tsunami relief telethon, but for Kenny, Renée has been a 10-year crush. The crooner first fell for the actress when she appeared in "Jerry Maguire," and in 1999, inspired by the movie, he wrote the hit song, "You Had Me at Hello."

Despite his crush on Renée, Chesney got engaged to Mandy Wheels, who he featured in one of his music videos. The two broke up three weeks before their wedding date. We contacted Wheels, who told us she is thrilled for Kenny and hopes he and Renée have a long life together.

As for Renée, she's a hopeless romantic, who in the June issue of Harper's Bazaar says, "I believe in love at first sight. And I've been in love -- completely."

But until she met Kenny, it seemed like something was missing. While promoting "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" last fall, "Extra" asked Renée what she had to say to those who believe she has it all. "Oh boy," she responded. "You should see the chaos that goes on before that."

But now Renée, who has dated Jim Carrey and White Stripes lead singer Jack White, has clearly found the fairytale wedding she's been dreaming about.

And at Monday night's Cartier event, famous friends like Jewel, Nicole Richie and Sheryl Crow shared her joy. "It's really cool, surprising," Jewel said.

"I'm very, very excited, and I'm very happy for them," Richie added.

"I'm shocked," revealed Crow. "I had no idea. I feel so left out."

Well, now we're all in the know. Congratulations Renée and Kenny.
