Britney and Kevin's Baby Drama Continues
April 12, 2006

It looks like Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline are having trouble adjusting to parenthood.

On April 1, their son Sean Preston was being secured into his high chair by the nanny when it snapped, sending the helpless tyke tumbling to the floor at their palatial Malibu pad.

Britney and Kevin acted quickly and called a doctor, who gave Sean a clean bill of health. But the concerned parents took Baby Sean to the emergency room six days later, just to be certain.

Although Sean was once again given a clean slate of health, the case was turned over to the Department of Child Protective Services, as is required by state law.

The case resulted in a visit from Child Protective Services last weekend. After a conversation with both Brit and Kevin, CPS decided not to open a formal investigation.

This isn't the first time Brit and K-Fed have had baby drama. Prior to this incident, Spears was spotted driving with Sean Preston on her lap without any safety restraints.

Since then, Britney's questionable parenting skills have become David Letterman's main target of ridicule. On a recent show he said, "Congratulations to Gwyneth Paltrow. She had another baby, a baby boy. The baby is doing great. In fact, it was driven home by Britney Spears' baby."
