Drop 2 Pounds a Week With the 3-Hour Diet
April 26, 2005
Want to eat ice cream and still have a heavenly body
like Halle Berry? Or how about indulge in bread and
beer and still be as buff as Brad Pitt? Well, now you
can with the 3-Hour Diet, the miracle weight-loss technique
that's helping everybody from Hollywood stars to health
conscious housewives lose two pounds per week.
San Diego fitness guru Jorge Cruise devised the diet plan, which is sweeping the nation. "It's not about dieting just for three hours and losing all this weight," he told us. "It's about eating every three hours so you lose weight."
"I was an overweight guy," Jorge showed us
in pictures of himself before shaping up. "This
is the gut, and this is what you lose on the 3-Hour
Diet, starting with the belly fat."
Jorge says when you eat is more important than what you eat, explaining that low-carb, low-calorie, so-called "starvation diets" lower your metabolism and make your body burn muscle instead of fat.
"One pound of muscle loss gives you five
pounds in a year of fat gained," Jorge warned.
And Jorge says there are no bad foods, just bad portions. He prescribes three meals and three snacks a day.
"You can do anything as healthy as peanut butter on celery, to apples, to popcorn, but I love cookies," he admitted. "You can do cookies, you can do chocolate. One of my favorite treats is these 100-calorie snack packs. You can get these at any grocery store. They're really good."
"Almonds are ideal," Jorge added. "Twelve of these make a perfect snack, like a handful. You can do a Twizzler, nice and yummy if you have that sweet tooth. And I end everyday with my secret weapon: a little Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. These are amazing, you have this little thing, this will prevent bingeing, prevent you overeating, and it'll keep you happy."
So watch the clock on Jorge's 3-Hour Diet and watch
the weight disappear.
