Baby Talk Takes Over Hot Young Hollywood Awards
April 14, 2005
The hottest stars of Hollywood gathered Wednesday night for the Hot Young Hollywood Awards, but it seemed like most of the A-listers had other happy news on their minds.
Nick and Jessica weren't talking about their own future family names -- they were just caught up in the Britney baby buzz. "I think it's amazing," Jessica told us. "My mom had me at a very young age, and I loved growing up with a young mother."
Any name suggestions, Jessica? "I think Lily's
cute," she said. "Samantha's a good girl's
name," Nick added.
"She's always wanted kids," Paris Hilton added. "She's been talking for a long time about it. I think they'll have beautiful children, they'll be really happy."
And Wilmer Valderrama had some name suggestions for the happy couple as well: "If it's a boy, definitely Wilmer. If it's a girl, Wilma."
Yes, it was certainly all baby talk as Us Weekly celebrated
style at the Hot Young Hollywood Awards, where Jessica
Alba, Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and Paris all
had new hair colors. Although a now-burnette Paris insisted,
"Blondes have more fun."
Us Weekly hosted the awards, where one of the winners was Jesse Metcalf of "Desperate Housewives. "I don't really try that hard," he said about his style. "I guess it's kind of an unexpected award."
But trying a little harder were Ryan Seacrest and John Stamos, who said it's been a long, mullet-filled ride to the top of the fashion heap. "Season One on 'Idol,' they talked me into wearing a sheer button-down shirt," Seacrest recalled. "Major mistake."
"I was watching a clip the other day of 'Full House' with my nephews," Stamos related. "It looked like I was wearing a Cadillac on my head."
Speaking of hair, "Extra" got the truth about
Paris' new 'do. "I'm on the set right now doing
my movie, 'Bottoms Up,'" she revealed. "I
have to be on set at midnight for night shoots, so I'm
going straight from the party to there."
