Forbes Rich List: The Big Bucks Club
March 10, 2006

It's the elite club every Hollywood mogul wants in on. And this year, perennial favorites are joined by a few surprises on Forbes Magazine's latest list of the richest people on earth.

It's no surprise that this year's list topper is Bill Gates, whose net worth is valued at 50 billion dollars.

Someone who didn't quite make the list this year? Martha Stewart. But her old friend, Donald Trump did. And the real estate mogul has a valued worth of 2.6 billion.

And the queen of all media, Oprah Winfrey, also made the list again, who is worth 1.4 billion. Oprah is joined by legendry movie-makers Steven Spielberg with 2.8 billion and "Star Wars" creator George Lucus with 3.5 billion.

But the new worth of Oprah and the Donald combined don't add up to the 4.4 billion dollar fortune of Dreamworks head honcho David Geffen, who doesn't even have any potential challengers.

"There's no new entertainment gurus on the list this year," states Forbes senior reporter, Matt Miller. But there is a new billionaire on the block: Online gambling tycoon Calvin Ayre.

The affluent bachelor not only made a million bucks this year, but also graces the cover of the magazine. "The fact he's single and good look doesn't hurt," Miller said.

Only "Extra" got the first up-close and personal look at the newest member of the billionaire's club when we visited him at his idyllic home in Costa Rica, where his motto is "have lots of fun."

And Calvin says there's nothing more fun than being on the cover of Forbes. "It's priceless," he said.

Stay tuned to "Extra" next week, as we take you inside the incredible world of this playboy millionaire.
