What's Next for the ‘Dancing with the Stars' Contestants?
February 28, 2006
Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke may have been named the "Dancing with the Stars" champions, but all of the "Dancing" stars ended up winning in this competition. "Extra" investigates what's next for all of your favorite contestants.
Drew is still riding high from his "Dancing" win, and he's looking to the future, which already looks to be taking his career to new heights. "So far it's been theater and television, which is kind of like that's where I feel I belong," Drew said of the offers he's received.
And Drew is not alone -- the phones are ringing off the hook for all of the "Dancing" stars, even those like Tia Carrere and Lisa Rinna, who got the boot earlier on. "The beauty of this show is it's put us all back on the map," Rinna said.
"It's pilot season," Carrere told us. "And I've got all these scripts flying in."
Meanwhile, Jerry Rice is diving right back into the spotlight; his new reality show "Pros vs. Joes" debuts Monday night on Spike TV.
Stacy Keibler is under contract with the WWE through this summer, but she's already been flooded with all kinds of offers. There's one particular offer, however, that she will continue to decline.
"[Playboy] has come to me three times," Keibler revealed. "And I've said no. That's definitely not something I'd be doing right now."
This summer Stacy will be first in line when her boyfriend Geoff Stults hits the big screen alongside Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn in "The Break Up."
