Go Inside the Golden Globes After Parties
January 17, 2006

Once the Golden Globes Best honors are handed out, the stars count down to the main event: the party scene! And this year, Warner Brothers and In Style magazine hosted the hottest party on the block.

The ladies of Wisteria Lane were anything but "Desperate" as Nicollette Sheridan stole a kiss from main squeeze Michael Bolton, and Marcia Cross snuggled up to her stockbroker fiancé.

Ms. Eva Longoria strolled in alone, but she dashed out in "Foxxy" fashion: with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx on her arm. "We're about to go to the crib," joked Foxx. "No, no, no, I'm kidding!"

Inside the big party, Teri Hatcher flew solo, and big winner Felicity Huffman danced the night away with husband William H. Macy. "Extra's" cameras caught her "Desperate" husband, Doug Savant, in the act of congratulating her. "Like every good Mormon… I'm in love with both my wives," joked Savant as he headed home.

Charlize Theron shared some love with longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend, and the Oscar winner told us, "I'm going to take some time off."

But is time off a decoy for a wedding and honeymoon? "You are so crazy! Not going happen!" Theron insisted.

Gorgeous Best Supporting Actor George Clooney revealed a secret about his statue, thus revealing how he planned to get the party started: "By the way, this is a flask," George said. "It opens up."

Sandra Oh cooled off at the party after her meltdown onstage. Of her "Ohhhhh" moment during the show, Sandra said: "I heard Sandra and I realized, 'I don't think anyone else here named Sandra was nominated. So I think I'm supposed to stand up!'"

The after party continued at the NBC Universal party, where the stars got down into the wee hours of the morning.

Globe winner Jonathan Rhys-Meyers revealed his surprise at hearing his name called: "You kind of practice it….stroll up really cool…be like Steven Spielberg. But that's not how it happened. You're kind of like, 'I want to thank my mom and my dad and my cat.'"

Over at the FOX party, "24" star Kiefer Sutherland rubbed elbows with big winner Reese Witherspoon and her hot hubby Ryan Phillippe.

The darling Hollywood couple was in good spirits as Ryan teased his wife: "How late are you going to celebrate?" to which Reese replied, "Oh, late."

Congrats to Reese and to all the other multi-talented Golden Globe winners!
