‘Bachelor' Travis Begins His Journey for Love
January 9, 2006
The dating fun has begun in France on "The Bachelor:
Paris," which makes its highly-anticipated debut
Monday night on ABC. And Travis, the dashing 33-year-old
emergency room doc who will be handing out the roses
this season, gave us a personal tour of what is without
a doubt the most spectacularly romantic bachelor pad
on earth.
From the silk-sheeted bed where Dr. Dreamy sleeps to the library where he relaxes, Travis gave us the grand tour of the two breathtaking 600-year-old chateaus that have survived the French Revolution and two world wars.
"In a strange way, this has become my reality, and for the time being, this is home," Travis said.
But would you believe the joint is haunted? "I'll be asleep," he told us. "And these windows will actually swing open in the middle of the night. And that's when I wonder whether or not there are ghosts in here."
Speaking of spirits, "Extra" got an exclusive
sneak peek of Travis and the Bachelorettes sharing a
toast on a group date at France's famed old Pommery
Winery. The handsome doc also confided that he already
has some early favorites. "There are real feelings
here," Travis insisted.
