Visiting the Sundance Kid
January 21, 2005

Robert Redford welcomed the masses to America's most prestigious film festival, Friday, as he kicked off his Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Kevin Costner and Keanu Reeves will take center stage for their new films, and opening night honors will belong to Lisa Kudrow, who told us, "I'm very excited."

Kudrow stars alongside Tom Arnold in "Happy Endings," in what he described as a once-in-a-decade role. "You have to have somebody that has faith in you, much like ten years ago when Jim Cameron said, 'I want him for True Lies,' even though everybody hated me," Tom recalled. "So every ten years a great director takes a chance and that's good enough for me."

In between screenings, the stars are being primped and pampered at The Village at The Lift, and GM is delivering the stars in style right to the Sundance hotspot: the Motorola House. And come Saturday night, every star in Park City will have Motorola on the mind as they host one of the biggest parties of the week. So let the festival begin!
