Here Comes the Groom
January 19, 2005
On the eve of launching "The Apprentice 3," and just days before his third wedding, the one and only Donald Trump dished to "Extra's" Dayna Devon about his bride-to-be, his hit show and even did some rumor control.
The current issue of Vogue includes stunning photos of Trump's bride-to-be, Melania, in her wedding gown. But isn't it bad luck to see the bride before the wedding? "It is if you see the actual dress," Trump explained. "This is what I'm told, because I've seen the dress in pictures, but not in person."
Meanwhile, Trump appeared on "Live with Regis and Kelly," where guest host Jeff Probst asked him about rumors that he invited his ex-wives, Ivana and Marla, to the wedding. But Trump cleared this rumor up: "Who invites their ex-wives? They're terrific, but they weren't invited."
So what about Broadcast and Cable Magazine's recent report that Trump's imprisoned pal, Martha Stewart, might be the new boss on an edition of "The Apprentice?" "I would think it's unlikely that will happen, but it's something we're looking at," Trump revealed.
And before we left, Dayna presented Donald with a wedding
gift from all his friends at "Extra:" a donation, in
his and Melania's name, to the American
"There's no better gift," Trump said. "That is really nice, thank you."
So from "The Apprentice" to the wedding, it's certainly a big week for this beloved billionaire bachelor. Congratulations Donald and Melania!
