for was on today's Extra. All new
stories are updated at 7:00pm on the East
Coast (4:00pm on the West Coast) and can
be found on the Home
Page of EXTRATV.COM. An hour
after the stories have been added to the site,
they can be found using Extra's Search Engine
located in the upper right corner of every
page.
If your search for
a particular story returned too many results,
try using the advanced search located below.
It has options like exact phrase
to help limit your search results as well
as an option to find words that sound-similar
to the word or phrase you are searching
for in case you do not know the exactly
spelling.

Video:
I am having a problem viewing the video.
The video files are best
viewed with Real Player 8™. Some video
can be seen with the older Real Player 7™
plug-in, but we recommend that you download
the newest version of Real Player™ Basic.
We also recommend viewing the video using
a fast internet connection ( DSL, Cable, T1).
Due to the large file sizes of the video,
clips viewed over a 56k modem will appear
similar to a slide show or may only contain
audio. Download

Audio:
I am unable to hear the audio interviews.
The older audio clips
can be heard only with the Macromedia Flash
5, Flash 4, or Shockwave Plug-ins. Download
Flash Plug-in. The newer audio clips
are encoded using the same technology as
our video clips. (See above example for
the correct plug-in)
Stories:
I am having trouble finding a story that I
saw on Extra this week.
Not all stories that
air on Extra are posted on the website.
Those that are posted can be found the day
they air on the main page after 4 pm PST.
A complete listing of the stories covered
by Extratv.com can be found in the News
Archives section of the website. They
are catalogued according to the the date
that they were aired. Also try using our
search feature. It is located in the upper
right corner of every page.
Story Ideas:
How do I contact Extra about a story idea
I have that I think will be perfect for the
show?
Extratv.com is utilizing
the latest video and audio plug-ins which
may cause older browsers to be unable to
read the page. If this is the case, we recommend
upgrading to a 4.0 or later browser. Other
problems with pages loading can be caused
by internet congestion which can
cause pages to load much more slowly than
anticipated.
