Real Age Diet
Our quest for the fountain of youth can take us from the beauty counter to the spa, to the doctor's office, but what if you could grow younger with items from your own supermarket?
Dr. Michael Roizen says, “Until you've got both feet in the grave, it's never too late.”
He has penned the new book “The Real Age Diet.” he says you're only as old as what you eat. We first told you about Roizen two years ago with his real age lifestyle. So we were all ears to learn how to eat our way young, too. Some tips? Go nuts! He says, “If they're roasted in their own fats, that's great.”
Five ounces of nuts a week can add a year and a half to your life!
Couscous is a much healthier alternative than just white rice, because it is the whole grain. Whole grains every time subtract a year and a half from your age.
New York nutritionist Barrie Wolfe reviewed the Real Age diet and liked what she saw. She says, “The thing I like is it's not really a diet … The only part I found gimmicky was the year part, but it gives readers motivation.”
No time for breakfast will age you one year! A fish-free diet robs a year and a half from your life! A consistent diet of takeout can add two years to your age.
Foods that make you younger - how do you like them apples?
