Spas
Trilogy Spa in Hermosa Beach, California was one of
the pioneers of the spa industry to have a flotation
bed. While you're wrapped in tealeaves and seaweed and
dropped into a thermal cocoon, you never get wet. Trilogy's
Spa owner Chandra Shaw says, "It's going to seal in
the heat and allow that area of the body to sweat out
the toxins much quicker."
One of the hottest trends in spas is food-- Food on
top you, not inside you. Chandra recommends a macadamia
nut scrub. "The nuts exfoliate the dead skin cells while
the oil within the nuts actually softens and moisturizes
the skin with the honey."
In Pennsylvania at Hotel Hershey's new spa visitors
can have your chocolate and bathe in it too! Slip into
a whirlpool tub filled with cocoa powder and instant
milk. Or get slathered with rich, dark mud mixed with
cocoa essence. These confections increase blood flow
and soothe dry skin.
The spa at the hotel Crescent Court in Dallas offers
a tasty treat for those who enjoy a little barbecue.
According to the Crescent Court, their highly recommended
barbecue wrap moisturizes and protects your skin.
The MGM Grand Spa in Las Vegas is serving up body cocktails,
like a Kahlua cream scrub that exfoliates your skin
and gets rid of toxins. At the Beverly Hills Peninsula
Hotel red grapes are great.
So the next time you're craving a little self-indulgence,
feed your fantasy.
