The dapper gentlemen and "ladies of soul" came out decked out Tuesday night. India Arie's arrive in a last minute creation. She says, “My mom made this an hour ago.”

But R&B star Tyrese wore P-Diddy’s duds. He says, “I'm trying to get a Sean John contract. So here I am Sean. I did it again Puffy.”
Exhibitionist extraordinaire Lil’ Kim was busting out with another little outfit. And our own Leeza Gibbons was a co-host of the awards show. The shows other hosts included “Soul Train's” main man Shemar Moore, rap star Eve, and Luther Vandross. This R&B legend will perform with Michael Jackson at his reunion concert September 10. And Luther says Michael’s new material is a thriller.
He says, “I heard his new single the other day and it is hot!"
And so was the action backstage. Eve changed six times for the night, always baring those sexy bear claw tattoos. And sharing the track with these “Soul Train” stars was definitely a real treat for Leeza.
