Tuessday
July 23, 2001
This
summer, Madonnas Drowned World Live
tour is the biggest show on Earth. A wave of sold
out concerts and frenzied fans follow her every
move. This week, Madonna hits Madison Square Garden
in New York City.

Extra
caught the buff star in a t-shirt getting around the city
by limo. While she rehearses, daughter Lourdes sticks
with a nanny occasionally sticking her tongue out at the
cameras. And son Rocco took in the sights at Central Park
with dad guy Ritchie who then treated Madonna to dinner
at Nello's last night. A girl's got to have her strength
for this kind of show!
Ritchie says, You feel like you have to see Madonna
once before you die or you really didn't live.
Oh but just try to get a ticket! In New York $250 tickets
are being scalped for $2500, if you can find one! That's
why Extra and AOL decided to give away two
tickets to one lucky person and yesterday, we tracked
her down in Linden New Jersey. Extra enlisted
the aid of the Linden New Jersey fire department to help
deliver our prize.
Extra used the old we have to check
the water pipes ruse to make sure our winner would
be home. She was and we set out to spring the big surprise.
Driving down her street, Extras Barry
Nolan cheered through the megaphone, You've got
mail, the Extra AOL Madonna tickets.
21-year-old Andrea Varga stepped out. She was stunned
and almost speechless.
Barry, You won two tickets for Saturdays concert,
and theyre great seats
Andrea, Oh wow, wow I don't know what
oh gosh
I can't breathe.
Andrea, an Extra viewer won by answering our
question: What was Madonna's daughter Lourdes was named
after?
a) Movie star
b) A city in France
c) A song title.
The correct answer is a city in France and Andrea who's
now celebrating with neighbors knows that people really
do win on extratv.com. |
