Julia Roberts and the
premiere of "America's Sweethearts"

When
Catherine Zeta-Jones wasn’t interrupting
Billy Crystal, who co-wrote and co-stars in the
movie, it was Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas butting
in. And while Billy had everybody in stitches,
suddenly single Julia was talking about knitting!

Julia
said, “I was making a sweater while I was making
this movie and I finished it and gave it to Benjamin.”
Of course it wasn’t Julia's first big night out
since her break up with Benjamin Bratt that had everybody
talking. Actor Jerry O'Connell says, “Julia Roberts
is single. We're here to get phone numbers.”
Better be ready to wait in line if he's serious about
becoming Julia's next leading man. "America's sweethearts"
director Joe Roth. Who's known Julia since producing
"Pretty Woman" says the actress is now a hardened
Hollywood heavyweight. He says, “ I think she has
really toughened up over the past ten years. She became
a big star very early on and she kind of grew up in
the press. So I think she handles herself fearlessly
and people respect that.”
Julia's not only protecting her privacy these days,
she's making sure nobody gets a glimpse of her in the
"fat suit" she wears in the movie
