Interview With Monica
Lewinsky
Monday
July 16, 2001
Monica
Lewinsky has a new life and a new look and she's
speaking out about Chandra Levy, the other well-known
intern.
Monica
Lewinsky and Chandra Levy parallel each other
in obvious ways. Two ambitious young women from
California, doctor's daughters who went to Capitol
Hill as hopeful interns and ended up players in
high profile Washington sex scandals.
|
Lucky
for Lewinsky, Capitol Hill is where the similarities in
these two stories end. Now living in New York, Monica's
notoriety has her on everyone's "A" list. And she's back
in the spotlight - only this time it's off-Broadway.
Monica is an investor in "Tick Tick Boom" a play by Jonathan Larson, who also wrote rent. Monica was so moved by the script, she didn't hesitate to invest her money. “Tick Tick Boom” is about the trauma of turning 30 without realizing your dreams, something Monica - about to turn 28 - is already contemplating.
Monica's line of handbags is doing better than ever and so is she. She's poised, confident and conscious of making all the right moves.
