She's blonde, she's beautiful, and she can belt it out. But make no mistake, 21-year-old Jessica Simpson's no Britney or Christina clone. She says, "For a little while there I was like, 'okay, I have to be like this person, I have to be like that person, I need my hair to look like that,' and it was never 'let's see Jessica.'"

But being Jessica is working. Her first CD, "Sweet Kisses," sold a sweet 3-million copies.
Now, two years after her "bubble gum" debut, Jessica's back with her sophomore effort, "Irresistible." It's a more mature Jessica, a sultry Jessica complete with leather hip huggers, and sexy midriff tops.
Only "Extra" was invited behind-the-scenes for the making of the video on a chilly April night in L.A. Jessica says braving the temperatures in next to nothing is only part of the territory.
She says, "Hollywood is definately a tough place you have to be comfortable with yourself and you have to really know what you want."
And what Jessica doesn't want is to be the flavor of the week.
She says, "I want to be like Aretha Franklin and still be singing when I'm 50-something. So I look at each on of my records, each song that I record, as a stepping stone to bigger and greater things."
And right now, at least she is irresistible.
