Poker Party
She
entertains millions on "The West Wing" and
when it comes to entertaining at home for friends, Emily
Procter likes to make sure it's a top-notch production
as well. So she came up with an almost foolproof formula:
the theme party. We got to take a look at how she does
it.
Emily Procter plays the republican lawyer shaking up
The West Wing. She says, I love that
Im getting to play someone who is smart and kind
and silly at the same time. She's a three-dimensional
character.
In real life Emily is a southern charmer from North
Carolina who loves to throw parties in her Beverly Hills
home! She says, I love hanging out with people.
The best way is to entertain.
Emily entertains with style. Throwing several parties
a month and always focusing on a theme. She says, Recently
I had a disco party. A lot of times when I have parties
I have costume parties.
Tonight
Emily is throwing a poker party with the help of celebrity
caterer Alan Jackson of Jackson's Catering. He says theme
parties are hip in Hollywood, People like to make
sure there are concepts behind their parties so it's not
just another ordinary boring party.
Emily wanted to do a poker theme because its really
important that the food matches her themes and we took
it to an extreme today.
Emily's guests start shuffling in right on time! And
then the games begin. These guests know when to fold!
The jackpot here is the food!
Aces are high and so are spirits! This poker party hit
the jackpot!!!
