Return of the Miniskirt

They were far out in the 60's and right on in the 70's. Now itsy bitsy mini skirts are back in a big way.

Linda Wells of Allure magazine says your old minis aren't gonna cut it. These babies are micro! Try this Jill Stuart denim at a relatively modest thirteen inches, or a khaki mini at twelve. But the showstopper is a Chanel suit for $1700 and a mere ten inches in length!

Well says, "Right now we're seeing miniskirts that could be called belts, they're so short."

But is anybody buying this teeny weenie craze? Kal Ruttenstein of Bloomingdales says minis are flying off the shelves. Kal thinks they're right for just about everyone. He says, "They're for every woman who thinks she can wear it. It's kind of a mental thing."

But Wells says if you don't have it, don't flaunt it. Linda says, "Make sure you're in decent shape, and if you're not, don't bother with this trend … don't be a slave to fashion."

Well, if you're ready to brave this daring look, here are some tips: tone those gams, make sure they're smooth, and give them a little color. Oh, and unless you're a supermodel, avoid those stilettos in favor a more sensible shoe.
