Mardi Gras

Before there was "Survivor II" ... Even before "Survivor I" made Richard Hatch a millionaire … the "Real World" was the face of reality TV.

Well, now EXTRA's taken some of the cast of MTV's "Real World: New Orleans" back to Bourbon Street.

Mardi Gras in the crescent city is a round-the-clock blitz of parties and parades featuring stars like Glenn Close and Whoopi Goldberg. So to celebrate, EXTRA went out on the town with Danny Roberts, Kelley Limp and Jamie Murray, stars of "Real World: New Orleans."

The tour started with Mardi Gras' trademark beverages ... beads and boobs. As night falls, our threesome hits the streets and "heads" to a hat stand. Maybe they're not Richard Hatch, but they get recognized everywhere they go. Some fans actually moved to New Orleans from Rhode Island because "Real World" made it look so appealing.

While the rest of the city also gets in the Mardi Gras mood, our guys are taking in a little table dancing and doing some backstage boogying at a local music club. And if these three thought they were getting into the spirit of things, some folks were going a bit too far.

But then Jamie gets lost somewhere along the way, and eventually even our two remaining party animals have to call it a night.
